Malawi, known as the “Warm Heart of Africa,” is a landlocked country in southeastern Africa, bordered by Tanzania, Mozambique, and Zambia. It has a population of approximately 19 million, with a high growth rate and a predominantly rural populace. The country is ethnically diverse, with the Chewa, Lomwe, Yao, Tumbuka, Ngoni, and Nyanja being major groups, and maintains English as the official language while Chichewa serves as the national language widely spoken across the country.
