Malawi, known as the “Warm Heart of Africa,” is a landlocked country in southeastern Africa, bordered by Tanzania, Mozambique, and Zambia. It has a population of approximately 19 million, with a high growth rate and a predominantly rural populace. The country is ethnically diverse, with the Chewa, Lomwe, Yao, Tumbuka, Ngoni, and Nyanja being major groups, and maintains English as the official language while Chichewa serves as the national language widely spoken across the country.
Malawi is celebrated for its natural beauty, including Lake Malawi, wildlife reserves, and national parks, attracting tourists to its stunning landscapes and vibrant cultural heritage.
Over 5000 Bible Study Groups have been established where people from any denomination can attend.
Every week Good Hope goes into six prisons in northern Malawi to show God's love and share God's word with the men there.
Good Hope Ministries started a sewing program in 2016 where we teach abused women, single moms, and prostitutes who want to change.
