Good Hope Ministries Programs Summary

1. Bible Study Groups Program

With the goal of teaching God’s Word through establishing and supporting Bible Study Groups for adults, youth, and children:

• Adult Bible Study Groups: Training volunteer leaders, showing the “Jesus Film,” distributing Bible study lessons and New Testaments.
• Youth Bible Study Groups and Children’s Bible Clubs: Training volunteer leaders, providing Bible lessons, distributing soccer and netball balls, and organizing games.

2. The Prison Ministry Program

With a goal transforming the lives of inmates spiritually and physically by establishing Bible Study Groups, providing Christian literature, distributing special meals, clothes, and soap.

3. The Shining Girls Program

With a goal of strengthening the faith young women who were involved in prostitution through Bible lessons and helping them find alternative means of living, some are referred to the sewing program. We also provide hygiene education to young girls.

4. Protecting Our Children’s Program

Addresses the problems of Child Abuse in villages through teaching about child abuse from what the Bible says and by establishing POC Committees, who provide help and counseling and involve the local chiefs and headmen and reporting to police and social services when necessary.

5. Sewing Program

Empowering abused women, single mothers, and former prostitutes by teaching them how to sew, providing Bible lessons, and distributing sewing certificates.

6. Compassion and CARE Program

• Good Hope Ministries Compassion and CARE: Distributing clothes, blankets, hospital fees, school fees, food, and shelter for vulnerable children and windows and others in need.
• Distribution of Glasses, Treating Skin Diseases, and Fixing Boreholes: Providing reading glasses, first aid for skin diseases, and fixing boreholes during the Bible Study Groups program.

7. Community Food Program

Distributing meals during meetings and training programs, providing food to widows, children, families in need, and prisoners.

8. Bible and Bible Lessons Distribution Education Program

• Distributing New Testament Bibles: Providing New Testament Bibles to Bible study group participants.
• Empowering Through Bible Lessons: Providing Bible lessons to help people understand the word of God.

9. Administration

Administrative support for the programs including medical insurance for all the GHM staff, property upkeep, office supplies, vehicle maintenance, CEO expenses, travel and Board expenses.
