Bible Studies

Over 9,000 Bible Studies are arranged and conducted weekly in Northern Malawi by Good Hope Ministries

Adult Bible Study Groups

Over 4,000 adult Bible Study Groups have been established where people from any denomination can attend. They are given Bible study lessons to follow and teach from. There are now over 200 lessons translated into Tumbuka, Chichewa and into another 3 languages. All who attend are given a copy of the lessons and many are given a New Testament in their own language.

Each of the Good Hope Ministries’ teams live in the zone they service and train and teach new leaders.

The Lord is coming soon. What a joy it will be to see many Tumbukans, Ngoni, Chewa, Yao, Ngonde and Lambya people from Malawi in heaven.

To God be the glory!

Youth and Children's Clubs

About 4,300 youth and children’s Bible clubs are active. For many it’s a place for them to belong. Many lives are touched and changed as only God can do!

A young woman described life change after joining YBSG at VH Mbawa, crediting the lessons with shaping her character and bringing her to faith in Christ: “I was once a troublesome young woman, known for fights, but everything changed when I joined the Youth Bible Study Group. Having accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, today, I’m a new person, with a controlled temper, respect for others, and a desire for meaningful relationships…”

After joining YBSG, a young man testified that salvation is a free gift in Christ—not earned by church membership or strict doctrine—and he wanted to start a group with friends to share what he learned: “Ulunji said he realised that salvation is something that Christ gives to us for free and the church we go to or the doctrines we follow are not what will make one find salvation… therefore he had the idea to open his own group…”

A CBC leader at Mkwawa reported that children’s attitudes and discipline improved over time, and parents noticed the change: “The leader shared his observations about the children who have been participating in the Children Bible Club… noting a significant change in the children’s behavior. Parents have also noticed the positive changes in their children and have encouraged the leader to continue teaching them. The leader believes that the program is producing good results, such as increased obedience to parents and a reduction in fights.
